Vibration and Acoustic Radiation of Stiffened Plates Subjected to In-Plane Forces

چکیده

This study is devoted to vibration and acoustic radiation of stiffened plates in the presence in-plane normal shear loads using finite element method. In structural modelling, plate stiffeners are treated as separate elements strain kinetic energies with an elastic boundary introduced. The results show good agreement those obtained other methods. Parametric studies that forces have obvious influences on efficiency sound power level structure. Furthermore, position warrants attention; e.g., farther from constraint are, greater effect performance is. However, edge loading has little influence structures.

Prediction and Measurement of the Vibration and Acoustic Radiation of Panels Subjected to Acoustic Loading

Interior noise and sonic fatigue are important issues in the development and design of advanced subsonic and supersonic aircraft. Conventional aircraft typically employ passive treatments, such as constrained layer damping and acoustic absorption materials, to reduce the structural response and resulting acoustic levels in the aircraft interior. These techniques require signi cant addition of m...

BUCKLING ANALYSIS OF FUNCTIONALLY GRADED MINDLIN PLATES SUBJECTED TO LINEARLY VARYING IN-PLANE LOADING USING POWER SERIES METHOD OF FROBENIUS

In this paper, buckling behavior of moderately thick functionally graded rectangular plates resting on elastic foundation subjected to linearly varying in-plane loading is investigated. The neutral surface position for a functionally graded plate which its material properties vary in the thickness direction is determined. Based on the first-order shear deformation plate theory and the neutral s...

non-linear analysis of viscoelastic rectangular plates subjected to in-plane compression

geometrically nonlinear governing equations for a plate with linear viscoelastic material are derived. the material model is of boltzmann superposi¬tion principle type. a third-order displacement field is used to model the shear deformation effects. for the solution of the nonlinear governing equations the dynamic relaxation (dr) iterative method together with the finite difference discretizati...

A generalized solution procedure for in-plane free vibration of rectangular plates and annular sectorial plates

A generalized solution procedure is developed for in-plane free vibration of rectangular and annular sectorial plates with general boundary conditions. For the annular sectorial plate, the introduction of a logarithmic radial variable simplifies the basic theory and the expression of the total energy. The coordinates, geometric parameters and potential energy for the two different shapes are or...

Static, free vibration and buckling analyses of stiffened plates by CS-FEM-DSG3 using triangular elements

The paper presents the static, free vibration and buckling analyses of eccentrically stiffened plates by the cell-based smoothed discrete shear gap method (CS-FEM-DSG3) using triangular elements. In this method, the original plate element CS-DSG3 is combined with a membrane element and stiffened by a thick beam element. The eccentricity between the plate and the beam is included in the formulat...
